The WebViewer integrated in netScope® Cloud is supported by all modern web browsers.

This includes not only Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari, but also their mobile versions.

This means that you, your customers and employees can access your WSI data from most web-enabled devices with all tools such as channel settings and annotations.

The philosophy behind all netScope® solutions is to open microscopic files directly with all channels without having to convert them first.

As different as the fields of digital pathology such as histopathology, veterinary or especially fish pathology are, as different are the file formats.

What they all have in common is the storage of the same image as downsampling in an image pyramid.

Supported formats

netScope® was originally developed for Whole Slide Imaging (WSI) Data in CZI format.

Aside Data from ZEISS Axio Scan all kinds of CZI data can be displayed. ZEISS Customers, which still use older MIRAX Slides in the previous MRXS format, can display those slides in the viewer as well. Similar to CZI, netScope also supports all channels of Perkin-Elmer Vectra QPTIFF files. DICOM, Big-tiff slides such as Philips tiff files, Hamamtsu NDPI and those in the formats Aperio SVS, Aperio AFI, Leica SCN, Roche Vantana BIF, Sakura Virtual Slide SVSLIDE, NanoZoomer VMS, VMU and many more are also supported.

Annotations from ZEISS and ImageScope formats are also supported.

All formats can be expanded upon request.
